The stockings all hung

The stump of his pipe
Tunggul pipanya
he held tight in his teeth,
dia memegang erat giginya,
and the smoke it encircled his head

like a wreath!
seperti karangan bunga!

He had a broad face

and a round little belly,

that shook when he laughed

He was chubby and plump,

He sprang to his sleigh,
Dia melompat ke giringnya,
to his team gave a whistle,
ke timnya bersiul,
an’ away they all flew
a & rsquo; jauh mereka semua terbang
like the down of a thistle.
seperti di bawah thistle.

But I heard him exclaim
Tapi aku mendengarnya berseru
as he drove out of sight,
Saat dia melaju tak terlihat,
“Happy Christmas to All,
“Selamat Natal untuk Semua,
and to All a Goodnight!”
Selamat malam untuk semuanya!”
